Nestled on the outskirts of Tregare, near the bustling little village of Raglan, is this delightful ancient timber and stone cruck-built cottage. 

It is perfectly located for The Brecon Beacons, Wye Valley and the lovely countryside of The Welsh Marches. Ty'r Pwll is a traditional holiday home for friends and families alike, with plenty of period features such as an original dais partition (oak timbered wall), large stone fireplace and lovely exposed beams, giving the property a wealth of character and a wonderful rural atmosphere. 

The history of the cottage dates back to the 13th century and is said by some to be the oldest house in Monmouthshire.

While you're in the area, why not venture into the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with a plethora of historical attractions nearby. Chepstow Castle boasting plenty of history inside, being the oldest surviving post-Roman stone fortification in Britain. 

Wye Valley also offers a wide-range of museums and art galleries for a look into the local history, with some fabulous displays. Let's not forget the large range of pathways for country or woodland walks, cycling, or plenty of lakes for fishing and canoeing.
